    How to create a Win11 arm Hyper-V VM?


    Hello. I am trying to create a Hyper-V VM running Win11 arm on my Surface Pro 11. However, when I launch the VM, it goes directly to "Start PXE over IPv4" without prompting me to boot from the DVD. After ~30 seconds, I get to the following Virtual Machine Boot summary "SCSI DVD 0, 1 The boot loader did not load an operating system".It seems to be related to not pressing a key when prompted to boot from DVD, but that message never appears. I tried resetting / spamming space, and also moving the DVD to SCSI Location 0.I obtained the iso image via the Media Creation tool on my arm machine so i

    Hyper-V on win11/arm64

    I have a Thinkpad x13s, ARM64 inside, 32 GiB, running win11. Hyper-V installed, WSL runs fine.

    However, I have not been able to install ANY operating system in Hyper-V.

    E.g., I downloaded the latest Ubuntu-22.04/server/ARM64, created a VM, and attached the ISO as a DVD. VM boots, I get the GRUB prompt, choose "install..." - then it hangs, saying:

    EFI stub: ERROR: FIRMWARE BUG: kernel image not aligned on 64k boundary

    Any ideas?

    Unassign Hyper V VM with deleted User account

    Hyper V is not assigned based on user accounts.

    Hyper V is a server feature that allows you to create VMs but they are not assigned to users.

    Can you post a screenshot of what you are referring to?

    And then share on a cloud drive and post link here for me to look at?

    Also what are the steps you are doing to "assign" the VM to another User?
