Windows 10: How to crossplay grounded?

I've just bought Grounded PS5 and I'm trying to play with a couple of friends Pc, but we can't seem to get the friend requests to work, as we've all sent friend requests to each other but don't know how to accept them, no matter how many we send to each other we never seem to get a notification or even a place to accept them, I have tried accepting them through the xbox website on my laptop, and my friend has tried accepting mine from their xbox account on their PC, but we still aren't seeing anything change in the games friend list menu

Which games allow crossplay?

I have a Xbox one and a pc with gamepass ultimate. Some games like Minecraft and ark survival i can crossplay between Xbox and pc; but other games like dead by daylight (windows version) my Xbox profile can be in the same party with my profile signed into
my pc but my pc wont wont Xbox in the game lobby. Is there a list of games i can crossplay without having to buy 2 copies of the same game?

Perhaps you should visit the No Man's Sky forum (Reddit) for your issue?

Also do you have the latest Crossplay patch (2.54) which mentions a network "fix".

Also, have you thought about temporarily turning off Windows Security (Defender) to insure it's not interfering with the game - Turn off antivirus protection in Windows Security. While at it you might also check the Firewall settings to insure the game (Crossplay) is allowed - How to Add or Remove Allowed Apps through Windows Defender Firewall in Windows 10.

Outside of that I'm out of suggestions since I don't play No Man's Sky.
