    How to deactivate KMS activated windows and return to deactivated windows?


    Brought a PC from a shop, they activated Windows using KMSAuto as they've told me. I've tried everything to go back to deactivated windows, including clearing registry, removing product key using commands from administrator cmd prompt, and I've factory reset my pc multiple times through a USB boot. Please help every time I've done this my windows stays activated and the watermark on the bottom right corner never appears.

    There is no evidence to suggest a previous KMS activation. On what basis was that conclusion arrived at?

    My Windows was deactivated. Now Error 0xC004F074 comes.

    My Windows 8 . 1 pro was deactivated. Today, I tried to activate it but error 0xc004f074 Windows 8.1 pro key management service (kms) could be contacted.
