Windows 10: How to deactivate Windows 11 lock screen permanent dimming if fingerprint sign-in activated?

Hello,as soon as I enable the fingerprint sign-in function, the Windows 11 lock screen is always dimmed even if there is a slideshow running.It is reproducible on two completely different PCs Intel and AMD.Both PCs are setup to switch to lock screen after 5 minutes of inactivity and one must log-in again.I can sometimes see that after the locking the screen still be bright, but it dims shortly after.Same for log-in. Shortly after the log-in one can see the screen getting brighter, before it changes to the desktop.It is the same dimming if fingerprint sign-in is disabled, and the sign-in dial

Fingerprint sign in no longer active on lock screen

I recently installed the Windows 10 version 1803 (OS Build 17134.1) update, and now my fingerprint sign in option is no longer active on the lock/sign in screen.

Prior to installing the Windows 10 upgrade, I also installed the HP BIOS update to address the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities.

I have created, removed and then created new fingerprints for sign in several times, but the option to use the registered fingerprint identities does not appear as an option on my lock screen. I am only able to use a password sign in on the lock screen to
access Windows.

I have also confirmed several times that my Synaptics FP Sensors (WBF) (PID=003f) driver is up to date.

And I have Norton Security Suite v 22.14.0.54 installed.

Step 2b is labeled as Change the Login Screen Image, but the steps show you how to change the Lock Screen image. Step 2a is irrelevant. It only tells you how to change the desktop background.

What I want to do:
Set Spotlight as the LOCK Screen Image(s) - Done
Set the Win 10 Hero Image as the SIGN IN Screen Image - This is the one that shows after you click on the lock screen and you are able to type your password. If I uncheck "Show Lock Screen Image on Sign In Screen", it shows a solid blue background behind my Password box and user image. This is what I want to change to the Hero Image....
