I have just purchased a brand new lenovo legion pro 5 16IRX9 with an intel core i9 14900HX CPU for both gaming and school purposes. I am aware that gaming laptops do have lower battery lives, especially when gaming, but I have found that the battery drain is extremely detrimental to my experience. When playing very low-requirement games, I find that my laptop drains from 90 to 20 within less than an hour, and simply browsing tends to come out to 1-2 hours, though it sometimes fluctuates. Stuck in a loop after windows performed repair

As per the information that you have provided, I suggest that you perform Power Drain as you are stuck in a loop and this might help you access the desktop screen. To learn how to perform this follow the steps below

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power
  cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

Gaming performance decreased significantly. UNACCEPTABLE

I am writing this because I have noticed that the performance of my pc when playing games has decreased greatly. I used to play this game with 90 FPS, but right after I updated my PC to the fall creator's update, the FPS dropped to 60. I got this while
the laptop was plugged in and while the PC was at max performance settings. The game settings have not changed, neither have the drivers been changed nor what programs start up. NOTE: this is NOT a hardware issue. This is clearly a software issue. I am VERY
upset with this change and it MUST be fixed.

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system
