Windows 10: How To Delete a Hidden Network in Windows 10?

I created a wireless connection yesterday (I tried to create a network that's equivalent to the previous "ad-hoc connection" in Windows 7 for sharing data between 2 laptops in the house.)

This connection shows on the list of "Available Networks" as a "Hidden Network". I cannot delete this Hidden Network now.

So far I have "Forget" this connection from "Manage Known Networks";

Deleted the "hidden adapters" from the Device Manager;

Restored the system from a previous image made by Macrium Reflect;

Deleted a reg entry from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles;

None of these works. The "Hidden Network" is still showing the list of Available Networks.

The laptop is running on Windows 10 Pro.

How to delete this Hidden Network? Please Help!

Delete "hidden network"

Hi,

Deleting or Blocking available networks can only be done using Command Prompt. Follow the steps below:

• Open Command Prompt.
• Type netsh wlan add filter permission=block ssid="WLAN name"
  networtype=infrastructure (Replace WLAN name with "hidden network" or the name of the wireless network you want to block) and press
  Enter.
  
• Close Command Prompt.

To remove/delete the network from the block list. Replace "add" with "delete" on the command in step two.

Today I have Hidden Network on my list of networks, where did it come from, how can I get rid of it?
