Windows 10: How to delete a language and disable proof checking

When I installed US keyboard QWERTY, the keyboard Afrikaans - US are also installed, but I cannot delete it, since it's only seen in the languagebar, not in the Language settings. How can I delete this language in this situation?Also, when I used Vietnamese - Telex keyboard, it always shows proof - checking when I search by MS Edge. The proofing didn't show up in other apps, such as Word, since I have turn off the proofing in word setting. How can I turn this off in MS Edge?

Got it, thanks. Now, in the Mail app, just ignore the language drop-down & close your Mail app.

Go to Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language > under Preferred languages, select the English language > click on its' up arrow button to make sure it's at the top of the lists. Then open your Mail app, create a new message & your language proofing should
no default to English.

If you encounter errors, kindly send me the screenshot of the error for further checking.

Proofing of a new language

Hi!

I recently installed another language on my PC (en-US) but the options for proofing and the rest didn't appear when installing it. When I've tried using it, the message "You can add proofing by installing a new language, booting your pc and restart all apps"
appear but even doing that, the language is only shown as installed and active yet not the proofing check. Any idea of why it can't be installed or how it could be done?
