Windows 10: How to delete a partially deleted user?

So I went to delete a user off of my mother's laptop since she asked me to remove it, but then said nevermind a little late. but as it was deleting, it died. When I turned the laptop on, the user was gone. SO, I tried re-Adding the user. But it claimed the user was already on the laptop? I check, I couldn't sign into it. So I checked the PC folders. It was in users. I dont know if I should delete it or not. Or do something about the laptop itself. Should I factory reset?

Explanations for deleted posts?

Like I said, it makes no sense in letting users see deleted posts, even if they are their own. That's why they were deleted in the first place. If they get to see who specifically deleted it, it only serves one purpose. Lets them bitch.

our policy is to delete only spam/inappropriate posts.

the only person who can "hard delete" posts on the forums is me .. everybody else can just soft-delete the posts, the original author will see those posts in the threads list with a comment why it was deleted.

to the poster it will look like this, without "manage"

 

GAH! accidently deleted a user account

its gone. not there at all.

i was deleting another old account that was no longer being used and somehow both got deleted.

i did it from the users and groups management panel in computer management.
