    How to delete a program without giving a file access to edit the computer


    While clearing the malware off my grandpas computer, and deleting apps, I noticed every once in a while it ask me “do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” With the app underneath. I don’t understand why it needs access to delete. I’ve been mostly declining it, but sometimes accepting it to just delete the file. Should I just give them access, or what should I do? I’m fairly sure that it is windows 10, but am not 100%Also sorry if I’m using the wrong category to post this, I’ve never used windows support before and am newer to it.

    Looking for Program to give access for move/delete

    I keep being denied when trying to delete certain files or folders or even move them for that matter. I know I have seen a program that grants access to do anything and everything like moving/deleting the files so I can stop getting this annoying error message. I do have admin rights.

    Can anyone give me the name of the program?

    Please give steps to open the paths to Program Files

    If you want to open File Explorer to your C: drive without any registry tweaks, you'll need to do so from a shortcut you create.

    1. Open File Explorer to This PC.
    2. Right-click Winndows (CHow to delete a program without giving a file access to edit the computer :) and select Create Shortcut:
