    How to delete files for Norton 360 from the start/boot process?


    How to I delete the Norton 360, Download Manager from my system? I delete the files and upon restart they repopulate. It is located: C:\Users\Public\Downloads\Norton\{DSP-N360-22231010-SHPD-FSD5340005}\FSDUI_Custom.exe I delete the files associated and upon reboot the files reappear

    Norton 360 Firewall Instructions

    So, just to make sure, you have disabled the Norton and it connects OK, e.g. the firewall is the problem? I would say that the settings for the Norton Personal Firewall would be the same for 360 since same manufacturer. You should be able to input the same
    info in 360 somewhere. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the software so can't give step by step instructions. I guess you could wait for someone to respond that has experience with 360 or go to a Norton forum.

    How to delete files for Norton 360 from the start/boot process?

    Deleting Norton Backup Folder N360_Backup

    I used to have Norton 360 but no longer have it. When I had it, it apparently created a backup folder N360_Backup on an external hard drive. Since I no longer have the app, I want to delete the folder. I have tried changing permissions and changing it from read only but the folder properties will not change and there cannot delete the folder. When searching on web, all instructions start with "start Norton 360" which I can't do.

    I would appreciate any suggestions
