Windows 10: How to delete incorrect email suggestions in "To" field in Windows Mail

Hello,


I have been looking for answers on this subject and so far I have not found a simple solution. I'd happily be directed to where this is answered if my search-fu is not good enough.


This question keeps popping up over the years and it seems it is still not properly solved.


I made a mistake in typing a recipient's email, now each time I want send that person an email, it's prompting the typo'd one along with the correct one. This recipient is not a contact in "People" app so no use trying to delete them there.

A Reset the Mail app

or

B Delete the corresponding Registry Keys


I hope you understand none is a convenient process each time you mistype an address...

Mail in Windows 10 - incorrect email address suggestion

When I create a new message and start to type an address a list of suggestions pops up. The top one is incorrect and I want to delete it but it does NOT appear in my contacts. How can I get rid of it?

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

Unable to remove incorrected suggested email addresses when sending emails in the mail app

Hello,

I recently noticed while sending an email on the Mail app on both Windows 10 PC and Windows 10 Mobile (Lumia 950) that a contact of mine had an incorrect email address. So I went into the People app and corrected the email. Following that, I went back to
the Mail app and tried sending the email again but the incorrect email and now ALSO the correct email were both showing up. So I checked again in the People and there was no sign of the incorrect anywhere on there. I then tried the Mail app again but the
same issue was arising. So I tried going to Outlook on the Edge browser and the suggested emails were working correctly. Went back to the Mail app to check it again and still the incorrect email was showing up. I even tried deleting the entire profile of the
contact on the People app and even that didn't help out. So, is there any way to get rid of suggested email addresses on the Mail app on both Windows 10 PC and Mobile? The issue only seems to occur on the apps and not the browser mail.
