Windows 10: How to delete Multiple Network Profiles from an Ethernet?

Hi everyone. I am using USB tethering feature from my phone to use Internet, but every time I use this feature, Windows adds a number after the name "Network" like the picture below which is Network 5. Therefore, my Question is how to delete this Ethernet Network profiles? Can anyone help me with this?

To delete unwanted network profiles, we can try doing it from the Control Panel first. Here are the steps:

• Search for Control Panel using the Cortana search box.
• On the upper right part of the Control Panel windows, type network.
• Under Network and Sharing Center, click View network connections.
• Right click on the unwanted network from the list on this window and select Delete.
  
• Once done deleting all the unwanted network connections, restart your PC.

Make sure that you are running the PC as the administrator before proceeding with the steps above.

I notice that when deleting unwanted network profiles using any of the methods, that the networks remain listed in the network list in registry under the profiles tab.

I s it a good idea (or risky?) to delete the profiles for unwanted networks? When travelling a lot, one tends to accumulate many public Wi-Fi profiles that you may never use again.

I worked all this out for a Win7-WinXP direct ethernet computer-to-computer network and later amended it for a Win7-Win7 network. Doing this in Windows 10 is just about the same as doing it in Windows 7 but some diagrams look different & you have to look around for the equivalent settings in some cases.
