Windows 10: How to delete popups.

Whenever I boot up my computer a popup for LINKEDIN appears in my NOTIFICATIONS box and pops up on my desktop screen. When I go into my notifications box it lets me close it but not remove it. I have never had a LINKEDIN account and do not know how it got there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I would give the other 3 options mentioned in the first guide:

• STEP 3: Use HitmanPro to scan for malware and unwanted programs
• (Optional) STEP 4: Reset the browser settings to their original defaults
• (Optional) STEP 5: Double-check for malicious programs with Zemana AntiMalware

And I would start with Step 4, resetting your browser

 

Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


Suggestion:

1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
   x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
   NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.
