Windows 10: How to delete recent items history when you right-click Explorer

Hi! Sorry if this is a noobish question, but I couldn't find the answer in any forum.

When I right-click the Exlorer icon on the taskbar, it shows me some recent items. I would like to delete this history. How can I do this?

To locate browsing history on your phone, please follow the steps below:

• Open the App list, and tap on Internet Explorer.
• Tap on the More
  
  button at the bottom right.
• Tap on recent.
• Now, you can see the recent browsing history on your phone.

Clear the recent list in File explorer

When I right click at Windows 10 File Explorer icon on taskbar it shows me pinned and recent items. How to clear the recent list? I tried turning off setting "Show recently opened items in Jump list on Start or the taskbar", and clearing history in file
explorer under folder options. Nothing worked, list is still there.

 

Cannot delete some items from favs. bar.

As you are facing issues with deleting the items from Favorites on Internet Explorer, we will help you with this issue.

I suggest you to try the below steps to delete the favorites items if not yet tried and check if it helps.

• Open Internet Explorer, click on Favorites
  in the Menu bar.
• Click on the drop down arrow beside Add to favorites.
• Click on Organize favorites..., click on the option
  Delete. (This will delete all the favorites items in the Favorites bar)
