Windows 10: How to delete the Win Hello Pin reminder altogether

This is another mark of Windows disrespect for their customers. They introduce new features with their regular OS updates, "recommend" that we use them although the older features work just fine and keep pushing and pushing for their usage at every PC boot or wake.


Now this Windows Hello Pin is not at all useful for me. I'm been using the Windows Password for several years now and it works just fine. But still I'm stuck with this "Window Hello - add a new pin - "oh so sorry" something went wrong" routine every time I turn on my desktop pc or wake it up from sleep. No hint at a way to disable it in the Settings, either.


I don't have time to waste on finding a solution to a problem that should have been fixed up front so it will be MS technicians' role togive me a simple way of stopping these abusive prompts and allow me to continue using my regular Windows password without interruption. Namely, I no longer want to see this stupid Windows Hello Pin Setup screen after I enter my regular password. Don't tell me how set up a Windows Hello Pin, I already chosen my sign-in option, and it's the password. I hope it's clear.


Version used: Windows 10 Home, Build 10.0.18363 on a regular desktop comp.

Login with PIN and Hello

Cortana reminders

Hi,

There are two ways to remove Cortana Reminders on your computer.

Kindly follow the steps o how to delete Reminders.

• Launch Cortana from the list of applications.
• Click the Notebook icon.
• Select Reminders.
• To delete reminders, click the check the box that says Complete and move to History or click the
  Trash bin icon to delete
