    Hi so 5 months ago I stupidly followed someone's advice to "upgrade" to windows 11, however something went bad during the installation and I went back on my decision and clicked on "stay on windows 10 for now" but I'm missing 4Go of storage. When I go in temp files to delete it says that 4,01-4,77Go are alocated for updates yet I frequently receive notifications to delete files to allow for updates.I've tried to manually delete the windows 11 files but I don't want to harm my pc by deleting something essential, can anyone help me get back my priceless storage since I'm down to less than 1Go no

    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I deleted $Windows~.BT folder that was propably Windows 10 files. How to recover?

    Hello,

    So about two weeks ago I deleted a $Windows~.BT folder (through the cmd). Now I know that was Windows 10 files ready for install.

    How can I download it again? I'm sure I need to reinstall some update. But which?

    Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

    As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
