Windows 10: How to delete Windows 11 "upgrade" $WINDOWS.~BT worse than any virus

Ive been trying to delete this windows bt folder with this windows 11 "upgrade" in it for weeks I don't want it. I never wanted it. and I will never want it. After declining windows 11 for the 50th time it got angry and forced itself on me against my consent, I've tried all normal solutions; disk clean up cmd powershell "access denied" changed the advanced security permissions manually to 'everyone' and also tried every individual 'name' it would allow ex.desktop/admin/user just for it to say "you need permission from ______ me im the only user of this device" tried "Delete windows update

I deleted $Windows~.BT folder that was propably Windows 10 files. How to recover?

So about two weeks ago I deleted a $Windows~.BT folder (through the cmd). Now I know that was Windows 10 files ready for install.

How can I download it again? I'm sure I need to reinstall some update. But which?

The Windows $BT folder is there in case you want to recover the old OS. It's not needed for an upgrade.

I think BT is an abbreviation for "Bloat". lol

 

Windows.~bt & Windows.old, can I delete them?

There are several ways on how to delete Windows.~bt & Windows.old folders on your computer. Simply follow the steps below:

• Go Search and type Disc Cleanup.
• Check the folder that you want to delete.
• Press Ok.

Note: Once you delete Windows.~bt file on your computer, you won't be able to go back with your previous Windows version.
