Windows 10: How to delink old work computer from employer

I have an old work PC rescued from e-waste with IT dept’s permission that I have wiped and reinstalled windows, however on starting it still comes up with the legal message saying that the computer is the property of the employer and needs a company login to be used. I want my daughter to be able to use the computer without using my work login. How can I make this work?

Work Laptop Desktop Mirroring Previous Employers Desktop.

Hello Everyone,

Due to a FedEx shipping software I updated on my current work computer with current employer, I was prompted to sign on using a Microsoft user name and password that was used on a previous work laptop computer with another employer. The second I logged in, I saw the same screen saver and work shortcuts that I had on my previous employers laptop. Why did this happen and how do I revert the screen to appear, prior to update, without my personal screen saver showing. The work desktop uses windows 10 and is connected to FedEx Network, not my employers network. I tried calling FedEx and they suggested that I call you.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
