Windows 10: How to deselect a OneDrive folder when backup windows

Dear Support Team,I am experiencing an issue with my backup process and would appreciate your assistance. I would like to report the following problems:I want to exclude the OneDrive folder from my backup, but I cannot locate it.The OneDrive folder is not visible in the list of folders during the backup setup, making it impossible to deselect.I have found the OneDrive folder’s location as highlighted in the green box, but when I try to remove it from the selection, the list skips from "Music" to "Pictures."I need to exclude the OneDrive folder because its contents are already stored in the c

OneDrive automatic backup Issues

You can't choose which folders you want or don't want to sync. When you go to "Choose folders" and deselect a folder it will be removed from your PC and remain online-only.

However, you can choose which system folders (Desktop, Pictures, Documents, maybe Music and Videos folders) that you want to sync to OneDrive.

Go to the Backup tab or Sync and backup tab > Manage backup to do that.

I suggest you turn off the backup of all those folders and any files you want to sync put them into the OneDrive folder at C:\Users\username\OneDrive.

Anyone know how to remove "OneDrive - For Business" from the Explorer navigation panel? I've tried just about every registry modification, and windows policy for "Onedrive" but they only seem to work for the consumer product, not for onedrive for business.

The onedrive product alone is so damn annoying and continues to load itself upon startup, even when it's explicitly remove from startup. It continues to automatically load and unload itself from within the startup folder... while I'm actively watching it load itself into the startup folder.

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
