  1. how to deselect [Uefi File As Trusted for Executing]?

I wanted to install Ubuntu on external hard drive.I installed but it was not showing in BOOT option [l installed wrongly using mbr, later installed using uefi now its working]when it was not showing in BOOT option, I thought i have to manually add boot option by selecting ==> select an Uefi File As Trusted for Executing I did select bootx64.efi in below image. but as you can see this is windows EFI partition.so basically it created duplicate boot option like this. How I can remove this.I tried bcdedit command,It removes the entry but when I turn off my laptop if creates the boot option again

    :)

    Vpn ( trusted Vpn)

    Hi everyone.
I am not an expert about Vpn and that's why I would like to know if someone could list me a few trusted Vpns, I would really appreciate any suggestion/ advice.

    Thanks.

Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface Driver

My computer is a Packard Bell Easynote ENTF718M Windows 10 Pro, version 1803, OS Build 17134.345; Bitdefender Total Security 2019
I received a notification of an error regarding above. Tried Troubleshooting - no solution. I went into Device Manager and checked device; tried updating driver and informed latest driver installed. Error code 10.
    See attachments
I have found a suggestion to delete driver, restart, reinstall driver and restart again. I have not tried it as I am unsure of the exact driver file to uninstall / reinstall. I understand that drivers are in Windows/ System 32/ Drivers.

Not sure if serious problem or not. At present everything seems normal.

how to deselect [Uefi File As Trusted for Executing]?

WD ASR : Block executable files from running unless they meet a prevalence, age, or trusted list criteria.

These forums are for consumers, so your question about an Attack Surface Reduction rule that's typically managed via Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (Windows Defender ATP) is out of scope here. You should be asking this in the appropriate TechNet
    forums related to that product.

That said, I assume you found the following document that provides what little information seems to exist in the public domain? I assume you'd need to know how to manage the prevalence, age, trusted list or exclusion list items within either WD ATP or enterprise
policies in order to configure them for the rule to work.

Use attack surface reduction rules to prevent malware infection Microsoft
    Docs

Rule: Block executable files from running unless they meet a prevalence, age, or trusted list criteria

This rule blocks the following file types from being run or launched unless they meet prevalence or age criteria set by admins, or they are in a trusted list or exclusion list:

    • Executable files (such as .exe, .dll, or .scr)

    Note

    You must
    enable cloud-delivered protection
    to use this rule.
