Windows 10: How to determine, among group, which printer has best quality when there is only one...

My work place has multiple printers of different model dispersed in large office but only one printer driver.How to determine which available printer to use for best quality?For example, do I have to pericdically check model number of each?go to manufacture website to find capabilitywalk far away to the best printer every time?

An outdated, or incompatible printer driver could be causing the issue. We suggest that you update your printer driver, or

Old printer installation gives Status:Error

Denis - I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by: " I suggest you click on your Start menu's HP group..."

However, I carried out your steps 2 and 3 and removed the printer then restarted the PC and the printer returned so nothing achieved. Could you please elaborate on step 1, thanks.

 

Printer advice

hp printers have the most expensive ink of all printers, the most economical is cannon and epson so i suggest if you looking to keep costs down look at those brands.

that being said it may not have the best print quality if it uses less costly ink.

if keeping cost down is the most important then shop in reverse, find a brand that has cheap replacement ink cartridges then see what printers they are used on. then from that list look to see if you like any of those printers and if they are affordable to you, if not then select another ink cartridge and look at the printers that those are used on. this method will give you the most affordable printer and the cheapest cost of replacement ink.
