Event Collector causes high GPU and CPU temperatures

About 3 days ago I noticed that my GPU temperature is at 80C and core is 1300 Mhz in Afterburner, even though I did not have any serious applications open. I checked my CPU temps in hwinfo and it was at about 60C for all cores. Then I finally saw that there
was a process called Event Controller Command Line (wecutil.exe) has 40% CPU usage at all time. I ended the process and my temperatures and GPU clock went down. However this process keeps opening each time I start my PC, but I'm not sure if it a system process
or malware. I checked everywhere on google but couldn't find what this process is.

CPU temperature issue in Windows 10 upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded the windows 7 to windows 10 its look good. But I noticed though, that system temperature is rising really quickly after system startup and CPU temp don't go below 50°C and fluctuating second by second and it goes
to 95°C as well.

• Only 10-15 minutes after startup CPU temperature hits 90°C when system is running totally idle
• If I start browsing the internet, temperature jumps to 95°C
• Task managers show system process between 18-20% of CPU; all other processes are between 0-1%
• All drivers are up to date

tell me how to solve this issue otherwise it will harm my computer.

Second thing pls tell me how to make windows 10 recovery disk so that in future I will kept for urgency.

 

CPU Temperature is very High in Windows 10

Hi,

I am using Lenovo X220 notebook having Core i5 second generation processor and 4 GB ram. I was using Windows 7 and never checked CPU temperature but as soon as I updated to Windows 10 I noticed about temperature of my notebook. The notebook was becoming
very hot on CPU side. The air was also so hot from CPU vent so I installed CPU temp monitor software and shocked that temperature was over 90 degrees centigrade despite I was using only web browser.

So I installed again Windows 7 and all things have become normal. I also see some post regarding the same issue but did not find satisfactory answer. I don't think to update the drivers is the solution. Something is in Windows 10 that is causing the problem.

Any suggestions.
