    How to disable Application Security Warning?


    Hello,I am using KVM Box and it has a webpage and it uses AKC Client Active KVM Client. When I click AKC Link on the its webpage, it shows Security Warning. When I click "Run", it works, but the next time it comes again. I have added its SSL Certificate to Trusted Root Authorization, the browser shows it is a safe website. But I still receive a security warning with AKC Client. I also added the ip address to Local Intranet, Trusted Sites in Internet Settings., it didn't help. Could you please help me how to solve it?     How to disable security warning? Excel 2019

    Hi all, when I create a hyperlink in an Excel 2019 cell to a file in my PC (a PDF) and then click on the cell, before the linked PDF opens a security warning displays as shown in the attached screenshot. I tried this method to disable these warnings without success. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Hi,

    This error message will show if the application or program that you are trying to open was been blocked by Windows Defender SmartScreen. Having said that, we suggest that you disable Windows Defender SmartScreen by following these steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • Type Windows Defender Security Center.
    • Click on App & browser control.
    • Click on Off in the following options:
      • Check apps and files.
      • SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge.
      • SmartScreen for Windows Store apps.
    • SmartScreen is now completely disabled. If you'd like to still receive a warning when a potentially malicious file or program is detected, you can choose Warn in each SmartScreen option.

    Let us know if the steps above helped you to resolve the issue.

    That's ok. To help clarify for everyone, which registry editing did you use and apply?

    In addition, what error message are you trying to get rid of?

    If you mean for the "Open-File Security Warning" message, then you could use the download in step 5 of OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to disable it.
