Windows 10: How to disable BitLocker?

I recently modded a game I had downloaded from Steam. I'm not sure if that's what triggered it, but it might be relevant? Anyways, every time I turn my computer on, it makes me re-enter the 48-digit BitLocker code and it can get really repetitive and frustrating after a while. It always says there's an issue and "my pin can't be used" when I get to the log-in screen. That usually sorts itself out before I have to reset my pin, though. I'm just curious: how can I disable BitLocker so I don't have to input the code every time? I've followed the steps Control Panel > System and Security > D

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

1. Press Windows key + X and click on
Control Panel.

2. Change View by from Category
to Large Icons/Small Icons.

3. Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
Turn BitLocker Off.

4. Follow on screen instructions. Click on
Decrypt the Drive when the message appears.

Change in folder size after enabling Bitlocker

We understand you concern related to the size of the folder displayed. Try these steps to narrow down the issue:

1. Disable bitlocker
   and then check the folder size.
2. We would also suggest you to open the folder and select all files and see the size of the contents.

Let us know if the size of the contents matches the folder size. If you see a difference, then the folder might be showing incorrect size.
