    How to Disable Bitlocker

Hi. I'm trying to disable Bitlocker because it keeps prompting me for a recovery key every time I start the computer for seemingly, no reason. I have tried getting rid of it through command prompts as administrator, but it tells me that my OS doesn't have the ability to disable Bitlocker unless I upgrade the OS. Is there another way to do it or do I have to look into 'upgrading' my os whatever that means? This us a brand new problem and quite confusing since my Windows 11 isn't even three months old yet.

    :)
