Windows 10: How to disable content adaptive brightness on a desktop on Windows 11?

HiI have a new desktop PC running Windows 11 with an NVIDIA Geforce 4060 Ti graphics card. Whenever I open a program with a dark background, the screen automatically dims, to the extent that the content is very hard to read. This is annoying for some apps but renders e.g. Photoshop unusable.This is not related to room lighting as there is no camera or calibrator attached to the PC and the monitor does not have this capability. It's definitely related to the content being shown.I have seen multiple suggestions online for switching this off in the brightness setting but I don't have that option.

Content adaptive Brightness

So content adaptive brightness is enabled, and I want to disable it however when I go to Settings -> Display -> Brightness and Color the option to disable/enable Content adaptive Brightness is not showing up, I even tried using an administrator account and the setting still didn't appear even on the admin account. How do I fix this? Also can UAC settings play a role in this or not?
