Windows 10: How to disable copy-paste between virtual desktops in Windows 11?

As stated, I have two virtual desktops in Windows 11 and I would like to use one to run some python scripts which copy data to the clipboard before transforming it. While the other, to be used for my regular work, which may include copy-pasting something to the clipboard from time to time. Right now, the python script ends with error because the data I copy is random and does not have the format expected by the parser. So I need to isolate the 2 desktops so that copy-paste to clipboard is possible within the desktop but NOT across them. Can somebody help?

The virtual memory pagefile can be disable using the command prompt, you must be signed in as an administrator. Kindly follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
• Type CMD to open the command prompt.
• Copy and paste this command: fsutil behavior set encryptpagingfile 0.
• Once done, restart your PC to apply the changes made.

Copy/Paste text between virtual desktops

Based on my test, I can properly copy any paste everything between my virtual desktops, which leads me to believe that the issue is isolated in your machine. Aside from moving the destination application that you mentioned, have you performed any other troubleshooting
steps to attempt to resolve the issue? You can perform a clean boot first to see if there are any services
or processes that could be the source of the issue. Make sure that you start normally after the clean boot.
