Windows 10: How To Disable Dark Mode In Google Chrome?!

When I was searching something a notification appeared, it asked me if I wanted to enable Dark Mode. I clicked ok to see how does it look. And now I can't find a way to disable it! Googled how to disable it every source says that choose light theme under default app mode. Well, my default app mode was already in light mode, and changing to dark mode and then dark mode doesn't change anything and I can't disable this feature. Please help.

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Force light mode in Google Chrome

Since yesterday google chrome have been running in dark mode. As far as I understand, this is due to a new update which makes chrome follow the mode of my default app mode. When I google for an answer most of the questions is about how to enable dark mode, but not many about how to disable it or force light mode.

I'm running on windows 10 with dark mode as default app mode and I intend to continue doing so, so changing to light theme isn't the solution here. I have tried changing the theme on chrome but the url bar is still in black so that would be the last solution.

I've seen a number of command line switches on peter.sh but those are intended for chromium, not google chrome (I know that they share many similar switches but they are not completely identical). I saw that there is a --force-dark-mode but it seems like there isn't any --force-light-mode.

Can I find an updated list of google chrome command line switches somewhere else, or any other solution that might work?
