Windows 10: How to disable function keys on Apple magic keyboard A1644 plugged into a Lenovo laptop?

Hi!I just started using my Apple magic keyboard today with my windows laptop and have found that the function keys do not do what is displayed on them volume control, brightness control etc.. I have tried Fn+esc, Fn+Caps Lock, Fn+tab and I'm not really sure what else to try.Let me know if I can provide more details to help fix this!

Apple Magic Keyboard on Windows FN Key

I just go the lastest Apple Magic Keyboard (without number pad). I want to us it on my Windows 10 laptop. They keyboard is currently plugged into a USB port because I can't figure out how to connect it to my machine via bluetooth.

I'm trying to use KeyTweak to map some of the functions that Apple doesn't support like

And it looks like the FN key doesn't get registered by my system because keytweak isn't picking it up, on top of that, fn+up returns the same code as just the up key.

Is there a way to fix this?

I'm using a bluetooth apple keyboard with windows pc. all the keys are working fine except the function row keys which include volume rockers and play/pause etc. For example, when i click the volume up key on the apple magic keyboard on chrome, it opens
up the HTML editor. How can i enable correct use of the function keys on windows?

 

Apple Magic Keyboard Functionality on Windows 10 (Surface Pro 4)

I am using a Surface Pro 4. I recently was gifted an Apple magic keyboard for my iPad, but was messing around with it and found out it can work with my Surface as well. However, the shortcut keys like Volume, Play/Pause, and Next/Prev do not work.

Is there a way to download/upgrade any software in order to get these keys to function with the Surface Pro 4?
