  1. How to disable left shift key toggling fn lock

My left shift key keeps toggling my fn lock on and off. Does anyone know how to disable the shift key from doing this?My left arrow key also keeps highlighting text to the left of the cursor whenever I use it as opposed to just moving the cursor to the left. Does anyone know how to stop it from highlighting? My left ctrl shortcuts like ctrl+c and Ctrl+v also are not working, but my right Ctrl shortcuts do work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    :)

  2. How to toggle between fn keys doing f1-f5 or brightness/volume

Ideally I'd like to not have to press the fn key to use the actions as opposed to the functions. Rather I'd just like to toggle fn lock on or off. A metaphor would be holding the shift key to write capital letters when I really just want a caps lock key.

Windows 10 - Disable "fn" lock?

To disable, or enable, the function key (fn) in the BIOS, do the following steps.

    • Press the power button to turn on the computer.
    • Press the f10 key to open the BIOS setup window. (On newer computers, you need to hold down the "esc" key. Then you can opt to go into the BIOS settings.)

    • Use the right-arrow or left-arrow keys to navigate to the System Configuration option.
    • Use the up-arrow or down-arrow keys to navigate to the Action Keys Mode option, and then press the "enter" key to display the Enable / Disable menu.
    • Select the desired mode

How to swap "fn" key with left "ctrl" key on generic desktop

I found that section in Half Teach mode, and I could press the "fn" key. However, when I selected anything at all in the drop-down list, I got the error box above:
