Windows 10: How to Disable Multiple Desktop Syncing

I have just created a second desktop with the intention of having a specific workspace with folders and links, etc, pertinent to my projects. But when I move folders on either of the two desktops, the other one syncs the changes.I uninstalled onedrive a long time ago, so this oughtn't to be the issue.Are there desktop settings to customise this behaviour?Thanks.

Wireless Synch stops working for some reason

Any more suggestions for fixing this problem? I really enjoyed wireless sync when it worked.

Steps I have taken:

• Rebooted the computer (multiple times)
• Rebooted the phone (multiple times - mostly due to marketplace crashing)
• Disabled wireless sync and re-enabled. Received success message
• Installed ZuneDevices.exe - Monitored connections and the phone is definitely connecting. The connect times in zunedevices.exe match the sync times in the Zune desktop client.

So, the Zune desktop definitely sees the phone. When connected wirelessly, I can see what is on it. However, nothing is actually syncing. Not my podcasts, not my music or apps.

Is there a log for Zune that I can view?

Virtual desktops lets you create multiple, separate desktops that each can display different open windows and apps. Multiple desktops are great for quickly switching desktops. The idea of having multiple virtual desktops is being able to order programs
according to a set of tasks.

PC can’t have different virtual desktop on each monitor. However, we can
configure the taskbar for multiple displays to send windows from one monitor to another. We can customize Windows to have a taskbar shown on only one display, and a different taskbar on the other display. To do that, follow the below mentioned
steps.

• Right click on the taskbar and select
  Taskbar Settings.
  
• Scroll down to Multiple displays section and choose
  Taskbar where window is open under Show taskbar buttons on option.
  

By choosing that particular option in Settings, you can set its independent taskbar in addition to your primary display. Only the open windows are shown on the taskbar in that particular display.

As a workaround, we can create a new profile to switch your main display to another. By doing that, you can switch between profiles which will be having different displays in it.
To do that, follow the below mentioned steps.

• Right click anywhere on the desktop and select Graphics properties > Select
  Display > make changes to change your main displays > click on
  Save profile > assign a name to it.
  
• You can create multiple profiles to make different monitors as main displays each time.
  
• To apply the profile, right click anywhere on the
  desktop and select Graphics Options > Profiles > in there you can select the new account which you have created to switch the display.

Hotmail not syncing on Windows 10 desktop PC.

From the above description, I understand you are unable to sync profile settings on your desktop PC.



Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• 
  Are you trying to sync the Hotmail profile to Mail app or on the PC?
  
• 
  What happens when you try to sync your Hotmail profile, do you get any error message/error code?
  

You may face the above issue due to poor internet connection, missing system files or corrupted files & folders located in your PC.



If you are unable to sync your Hotmail settings on PC, I suggest you to check if the sync settings options is disabled on your PC.



Follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• 
  Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type
  Sync your settings and select the top most search result.
  
• 
  Check if Sync settings status is
  On. If not, slide the bar to On status.
  
• 
  Close the window and check if the changes are effective.
