Windows 10: How to disable News and Interests in the taskbar without it reappearing again later.

The ability to disable the News and Interests feature does not exist. While there is an option to disable the "widgets" in the taskbar settings the feature reappears a short time later. Please provide a method for removing this feature otherwise Mint and Puppy become more and more of an acceptable replacement for this OS.

News and interests keeps popping up on my taskbar. I have disabled it via Settings/Taskbar and turning "news and interests" off. However, it pops up a few minutes later.
