Windows 10: How to disable or reduce duration of taskbar popup tips?

As you can see, when I hover mouse above a taskbar window, the tip window will popup and last very long time, even I set the taskbar to auto hide, the tip box will still last for a while when the taskbar is already gone, some time it blocks my visual to current window, and quite annoying.


How can I turn off the popup tip window feature or just make it not last so long? Thanks.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

If yes, there is no option to disable the taskbar window pop-ups when you hover the mouse, this is by design. However you may Auto-hide taskbar by following the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the taskbar and select properties.
  
• 
  In the Taskbar tab, Place a tick mark for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Tweaktown popup to disable adblocker?

Using adblocker is the simplest way but if the site urges to disable the adblocker, then I block the popups
