    How to disable orange app alerts in taskbar, win10, teams and other apps


    There are no clear answers anywhere online currently.I want to disable this orange highlighting that occurs when an app needs attention:I do not want to disable notificationsI do not want to disable badgesI want to block apps from seeking "attention". Here's the problem, I use teams on one monitor, and other programs on the other monitor. I have the teams chat open and I can follow along perfectly. When someone sends a chat during a meeting, the task bar BLOCKS the chat because of this g.d. orange alert. I can only dismiss it by clicking on the chat to indicate I've seen it. Absolutely mind bo

    Disable blinking orange tabs on taskbar

    I want to disable the blinking orange tabs on the taskbar, for example for Teams notifications, because it's distracting. I tried setting the registry keys

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Control Panel - Desktop - ForegroundFlashCount to 0 and ForegroundLockTimeout to 0 but it doesn't help. I have Windows 10 Enterprise version 1909. Thank you.
