  1. How to disable passkeys

Today I tried to login to my email a live/outlook account and it asked me for a passkey. I've never used passkeys before so I thought this was strange. I followed the instructions that lead me to settings > accounts > passkeys, and found that there is indeed a passkey linked to my device, which worries me greatly, because I don't remember having ever created it. I tried to delete the passkey, but it says that it can't delete it because it's required to sign in to my home pc. This is even more worrisome, as now I'm afriad that if I restart my computer or something, that I won't be able

    :)

Disable "iPhone, iPad, or Android device" option for Passkey Sign-in

Ok, so it is not that you already have that set up and have scanned the QR code using your mobile device, but you've been using security key instead, and now this pop up creates an extra step for you, because you have to click the security key option manually, is that right?

In that case, then no, the website will not be listed in the passkey section. And also there's no way to default the security key over the passkey. I am afraid this is something that will have to go to Feedback hub (Windows +F).

My apologies. The website of duo threw me off and I admit I didn't look closely.

Indeed, this is the passkey feature.

As of now, the only native way to delete them is via Settings > Accounts > Passkeys, you would see a list of websites listed here. You will need to click on the three dots of each one to delete them.
