  1. How to disable pin requirements set by my organization on my personal device.

Hello, I am currently in college and I connected my school account with my personal windows account on my PC at home so that I could access one drive and Microsoft office and such. When I set it up I must have allowed the organization to manage my device because now I have to change my pin far to often and make it more complex than I would like for a device that stays at home and only I have access to. I have disconnected the school account in windows account settings, uninstalled one drive and office and any other app I could think might be linked with the school account. I have even disabled

    :)

  2. Windows 11 pin says "Organization requires pin change"

When I log into Windows 11 Home edition I use a pin. After a few weeks it will prompt me to change my pin and shows "Organization requires pin change". This is a personal computer and there is no organization, I do not want to have to change my pin every few weeks. I have seen solutions for Windows 10 for this problem but those do not work for me with Windows 11.

How do I disable changing my pin every few weeks?

How to remove Administrative Organization from Requiring Controlling Log-Ins on My Personal Laptop

The initial issue began when I put in my pin it wanted me to reset my pin saying my administrative organization or something required it. This has probably been going one for a good year--closer to two. I just haven't been able to find a solution and it only becomes a problem when my facial recognition doesn't work. My only work around is putting in my password in long form. That's not a problem BUT I DON'T WANT ANY ADMINISTRATOR I DON'T KNOW CONTROLLING MY PERSONAL COMPUTER.

I've looked for answers several times for this issue. I've reset my computer removing all programs but my files.

Not even zoom or my email beyond the internet web app--but I'm an alumn now. I can't use my personal laptop for work too.

I've found these but they don't solve my problem:

    • Redirecting
      • the only answer here is suggesting I may have a virus? But my Windows Defender shows no problems
    • Redirecting
      • this one is like countless others I have looked at over the past few months

  4. How to disable pin requirements set by my organization on my personal device.

Your organization requires you to change your pin

    Hello Favor Zara,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

According to your description "your organization requires you to change your pin", can I understand that this device of yours is in the organization network? Or did you log in to the device using an organization account?

In my opinion, this issue is organization-specific, and you should contact the administrator of your organization who may be able to assist you in changing your Pin.

However, if your device, or the account you are using, is not part of the organization, this can be a trickier issue, because typically personal devices or accounts are not supposed to be associated with the organization.

For now, perhaps I can suggest that you try doing this in safe mode:

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows

In safe mode, the operation should not receive any interference at this time, please test that you can use the keyboard to type letters at this time.

    Best regards,
