Windows 10: how to disable the feature that allows windows to stop charging at 100%

I reinstalled windows on my laptop a few months back and since then what happens is that once the battery has charged 100%, it will stop drawing AC power and will not start charging again until I shutdown my laptop or force restart it. I cannot find a setting for this but it is very troublesome to unplug my charger every time the battery reaches 99%. It is also reducing my battery life. Please guide me on how I can stop this.My PC Specifications are as follows: Dell Inspiron 15R 5521Edition Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Installed on ‎20-‎12-‎2022 OS build 19045.2486 Experience Windows Feature

My Computer is Plugged in but not Charging

My laptop computer is plugged in but not charging. The power supply will maintain the charge level (%), but not add to it. Removing and reinserting the battery allows the power supply to add to the % charge to 100%.

Steps performed:

• Turning the computer off and restarting it returns the computer to the Plugged in, Not Charging state.
  
• Removing the battery again allows one complete charge, after which the laptop would no longer charge again.
  
• I have used more than one power supply with the same condition.
  

To resolve the issue, I remove the battery, obtain a complete charge, and maintain this charge by always keeping the power supply plugged in.

What is the root of the problem?

 

How do I stop my disk usage being at 99% or 100% on Windows 10?

How do I stop my disk usage being at 100% on Windows 10? Below is what I've tried

• Changing Link Storage Technology in Intel Rapid Storage to be off
• Restarting or Disabling Windows Search service
• Restarting or Disabling Windows Superfetch or SysMain service
• DISM and SFC scans
• Checking for hard drive errors in CrystalDiskInfo
• Running programs as administrator
• Changing the security of backup programs and high disk usage programs to give my user all the permissions in the Properties
• Looking at Task Manager to find the cause (the processes listed don't add up to 99% or 100%)

I'm using Windows 10 20H2
Is there any other suggestions I can do?

Defender stops malware from running on your device. It's possible that this feature is preventing the system from restoring/allowing the affected program. If you're sure that the affected program is virus free, we suggest that you disable the
feature temporarily and try to restore the program. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Type Windows Defender settings in the search bar and press
  Enter.
• Under Windows Defender, disable
  Real-time protection by clicking the toggle button.
• Once you're done, restore the affected file/program and check if the issue persists.

Also, you can allow a quarantined file/program from the Windows
Defender desktop app. If you have the app installed on your device, you can follow these steps:

• Type Windows Defender in the search box, and then select the Desktop app.
• Under the History tab, click on the check box for the affected file/program.
• Select Allow item.
