    How to disable the "passwordless mode" for Microsoft accounts that are linked to the...


    I can login in my mail just by accepting the notification in my phone and after that confirming my fingerprint/PIN, I don't even need to type a password. I want to disable this to add extra security, how can I do this?

    I can't add this MS account by scanning the QR code because this is the account for the backup system, the account connects in this passwordless mode as soon as I restore my codes.

    the page where is said account disabled , it also showed a link saying next step is to contact us,
    i ran that link and reported the problem, still no reply

    Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

    Hello Ken,

    Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

    I also run all related troubleshooters:
    • Windows Update
    • Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
    • Microsoft Accounts

    No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.
