Windows 10: How to disable the picture Win 11 shows when the PC starts

When I start my PC Win 11 shows odd pictures before I log in. How can I disable that, since the pictures are just awful. Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

 

Problem to access a win 10 pc from a win 11 pc on my network

Thank's for answer. As mentionned in my post, I can see win 10 pc on the network from my win 11 pc. The problem comes when I click on win 10 pc, I get the error message : windows cannot access //pc-xxxx. (see the picture I have included)

All the parameters you suggest to me are set correctly.

From win 10 pc I see the win 11 pc and can access his share files.

To isolate the cause of the disappearing contact pictures, we just have a few questions:

• 
  Do the contact pictures show when you access your email with Outlook 2016 or Outlook.com?
  
• 
  What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
  
• 
  Did this only start after you installed the Creators Update?
