Windows 10: How to disable the "standard dictionary" referenced in: Settings... / Inking & Typing...

How to disable the Windows “standard dictionary” referenced in: Settings / Privacy / Inking & Typing PersonalizationLiterary in the configuration panel says: “…but the standard dictionary will continue to provide typing suggestions and handwriting recognition”.JUST WHAT I NEED, IS TO TURN OFF THIS TYPING SUGGESTIONS AND HANDWRITING RECOGNITION.I DIDN'T ASK FOR IT, I DON'T WANT IT, I DON'T NEED IT.I can't work in apps like “Living Writer” or “WhatsApp Desktop” because it underlines all the words in red.This has nothing to do with turning off the “autocorrect misspelled words” and “Highlight

Windows Remove a Misspelt Word Misspelling from Personal Dictionary (Inking & typing personalisation)

Hi guys

I can seem to find a way to remove a misspelling / misspelled word from my 'personal dictionary' in Windows 10.

In Window 10 setting Inking & typing personalisation I have the 'getting to know you' setting turned on and I can tap / click on 'View your personal dictionary' however I can only view the words here, not remove any misspellings.

I have a few misspelt words which keep getting added as Autocorrected suggestions and I need to remove all the common misspellings from this dictionary, I just can't find out how to do it?

Inking and Typing data settings - Windows 10

In the version of Windows 10 i'm using, there are 2 seperate 'inking and typing' options - one under

Privacy/ Diagnostics and Feedback and one under

Privacy/ Inking & Typing personalisation

When i initially set up my account, i turned off the first of these (the one that appears in my Privacy/ Diagnostics and Feedback as Improve inking and typing). This assured me that it prevents 'inking and typing data from being sent to Microsoft'.

recently I noticed that the other one (the one that appears in Privacy/ Inking & Typing personalisation Getting to know you ) was turned on. This purports to create a personal dictionary based on my typing.

I've checked it out - it seems to change every now and again with more or less entries, it seems to know words i definitely have never typed on my computer but which appear in files i have imported onto my computer. Conversely i've typed a lot of words in ancient greek and extinct languages like hittite becaiuse of my interests which don't appear in the Dictionary.

1-With these 2 settings the way they are is it sending my typing data to Microsoft?

2-Is the dictionary saved only on my device or is it saved on the cloud/ with my microsoft account?

3-Is microsoft effectively keylogging what i type?

 

Inking & Typing Personalization - Personal Dictionary Unique Per Computer, or Follows Account?

Something I haven't been able to find a clear answer on is whether the personal dictionary, part of the Windows 10 Inking & Typing Personalization, is unique for each computer that an account is signed in to, or if it follows the corresponding account to each computer. If I disable it on any single Windows 10 instance, the personal dictionary is cleared, and I want to know if that only affects that computer and if there is an actual file that roams with your account.

Anyone know the answer to this?
