Windows 10: How to disable the touchpad freeze during/after typing?

The laptop I'm using is an Avita Admiror running on Windows 10.During and shortly after I type, my touchpad cursor is frozen and I constantly have to wait a short time after typing before I can use my cursor again. This constant delay I have to wait every time after using my keyboard is slowly driving me crazy.I found one solution online http://triplescomputers.com/blog/casestudies/solution-mouse-cursor-freezes-after-typing-in-windows-10/ that appears to address exactly what my problem is. However, it involves going into the mouse properties, and I don't appear to have all the settings that

These 7 steps allowed me to disable my touchpad (Dell laptop, Windows 10):

1. Win Start button
2. Type in "device manager"
3. Select Device Manager to open it
4. Click down arrow to left of "Mice and other..." to expand
5. Right click Dell Touchpad
6. Disable device
7. Yes

Disable touchpad

Hi,

Normally, you can disable the touchpad from Device Manager by follow the steps below:

• Go to Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right-click on HID-compliant mouse and select Disable.
• Click Yes.
• Check if the touchpad is already disabled.

You can also contact the device manufacturer for further assistance if touchpad cannot be disabled.
