Windows 10: HOW TO DISABLE WIN 10 UPDATES AND ANTI_MALWARE SERVICE EXECUTABLE WHICH IS WORSE THAN ANY...

I need to permanently disable win 10 update because it is intruding on my work and costing me money. I need to be able to install updates WHEN I CHOOSE TO, NOT WHEN WINDOWS CHOOSES TO. The option in settings to delay updates simply does nothing, it is just a mirage, a false promise; it's a **** fraud. If I allow the relentless windows update to run in my task manager, which I have open all the time so I can see what sort of intrusion Windows is making into my day to day, and then delay updates for as long as possible in the complete and utter lie update settings, when I restsart, Windows upd

Win 10 Pro disable the Windows Update service no longer viable??

Can't really comment on newer builds. I'm just using Windows 10 Home where "apparently" it's not possible to manually download updates.

However here are a few screenshots from my machine.



















It's possible that disabling "Refresh Settings" task prevents the settings being auto changed but that is just a guess.

Nothing you have to do just follow the simple steps which are mentioned below to resolve your problem: -

• Disable Windows Defender with the Registry Editor.
  
• Change the schedule for Windows Defender

The disk is HDD

Turned off background apps

Disabled windows update

Disabled some startup apps

Disabled remaining apps in msconfig services

There was no "Show me tips about Windows." in Notifications and actions

Went to change power plan settings but no processor idle disable under processor power management.

Did a few of these steps and seems to still not be solved. Many people have suggested deleting my antivirus programs but upon trying to do so they say something along the lines of “still in setup”, not
allowing me to delete them.
