    please can someone tell me how to completely disable windows update? cause i don't give a damn about how important the update,

    and for microsoft staff, tell your boss or directly bill gate, cause i bought this OS, GIVE MY RIGHT TO CHOOSE WETHER I UPDATE MY SYSTEM OR NOT!!


    don't bother me with your automatic update!!

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    how to permanently disable windows 10 automatic updates,

    Hi Ezequíaz, complete the 3 steps below to permanently stop Windows 10 Automatic Updates:

    1.

    Open the Settings App

    Go to Accounts - Sign-in Options

    Choose to sign in with a Local Account rather than a Microsoft Account.

    2.

    In the Settings App

    Go to Network and Internet

    Set your WiFi connection as Metered

    3.

    Click your Start Button, type services and hit ENTER

    Scroll down the list of services to find Windows Update

    Double click the service

    If it has started, click 'Stop'

    Then you must set its startup type to 'Disabled' - 'Manual' will not do!

    Restart your PC

    That's It!

    I would like to know how to fully disable updates for windows 10. Not partially, not some arbitrary percentage, but COMPLETELY AND PERMANENTLY! I'm tired of having these updates crammed down my throat without even having a choice in the matter. I'm fully
    aware that this question entails violating any number of user agreements with Microsoft, but I'm of the opinion that this is not Microsoft's call to make. As they are the ones providing a service, it is up to the individual if they wish to make use of those
