Windows 10: How to display Account Name instead of Real Name?

How do I switch from Full Name display on my log screen even my emails via the Mail app to my Account Name?I believe Windows 8.1 did used my Local Account name, and I link it to my MS Account, but there seems to be no way to do this on Windows 10.SMH, it's been 6+ years, yet I'm still finding missing feature on Windows 10 that are useful in Windows 8.1.

While sending mail, does not show my name, instead shows my email address

I would suggest you to follow the steps to change the Account display in Mail app:

1. Open Mail app

2. Select “settings”.

3. Under settings select “Manage Account”.

4. Click on the Account name

5. Change the Account name

If still not working, try the steps below:

• In the Mail app, open Settings (the gear icon).
• Click 'Manage Accounts'
• Select the account you want to change the outgoing display name for
• Click 'options for syncing email, contacts, and calendar'
• in the account sync settings, there should be a 'Your name' text field that is used as the display name for outgoing emails.

• When you say, “I made the selection to sign in to her Microsoft account using my Microsoft log in” do you mean that you used your Microsoft account to login to the PC?
  
  
• Where exactly the name has been changed for the child account? Are you seeing the name changed in Microsoft Family when you log in to
  https://account.microsoft.com?
  
• What happens when you try to change the name for the child account?
  
• Are you referring to the name displayed on the log in screen of the computer?.

Query about changing the account name

Since you have already changed the name on your Microsoft account, we suggest switching into a local account, and then log back in with your Microsoft account. This way, we can be sure that any changes made to your Microsoft account will be synced to your
local user account.

For steps on how to switch to a local account:

• Click on Start.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Under Your account, click on Switch to a local account.

To switch back to a Microsoft account:

• Follow steps 1-3 above to get to Accounts.
• Under Your account, click on Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
