Windows 10: How to display desktop on three monitors simultaneously in Windows 10?

I have a new installation of windows 10 on my HPTC.

I want to mirror the desktop on three monitors simultaneously and not that I think this is the limiting factor, but one connected VGA, one connected HDMI, and the third wirelessly, using Miracast

I note that Windows 10 will allow me to duplicate the desktop on monitors 1&2, or 1&3, but not on all three monitors at the same time.

My Googling this question seemed to indicate it was a limitation of Windows, but I know this worked on my previous Windows setups admittedly, all prior to Win 10

Can you assist?

Desktop icons disappeared with 2nd monitor, Windows 10

1. Did the desktop icons disappear from both the displays when the main display was switched?

2. Which built version of Windows are you currently using?

When you setup multiple monitors, you will get options to personalize the display according to your needs, these options are:-

1. Duplicate these displays- Shows the entire desktop on both displays. The second or other monitors mirror the primary monitor.
2. Extend these displays - Stretch the desktop across the two displays. The desktop screen of your PC is extended across all the detected monitors and allows you to have a desktop screen that spans across all monitors.
   

If the display settings are set to Extend these display, all the launched application will be displayed in the monitor which has ‘Make this my main display’ option enabled under the ‘Multiple displays’
settings. The desktop icons will only be displayed on the main display.

Taskbar displaying in an incorrect position when using scaling on a dual monitor setup

This issue might have occurred due to display drivers. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the display drivers and check if the issue persists.

Steps to Update Graphics Driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right click on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on Windows 10.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Also, check if the issue persists on 100% screen resolution as well.

Also, Update the Display Adapter drivers.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.

• Restart the computer.
