  1. How to display explorer search results in the window without having to hit enter?

I'm talking about typing in your query in the search box of windows explorer. It used to be results would show up as soon as you started typing in the search box. However, ever since an update a couple months ago, now you get 10 results that drop down below the search box, and then you have to hit "enter" for the results to populate in the window itself. How to revert it back to normal?

This website illustrates what I'm talking about. I want Figure B to show up as soon as I start typing, instead, now it goes to Figure A and then you hit "enter" to get to Figure B. I think it's a waste of time because the drop down results aren't always right and I'd like to scroll through all my results first. Thank you.

When searching in file explore search results are displayed right below the search bar in a list, but only when you hit Enter, the complete result is displayed.

Search result displayed in Windows Explorer

When I search for a string in Explorer the result is displayed as a list of results. I would like to be able to change the width of the columns. Is that possible?

For instance, if I enlarge Explorer so it fills the whole screen, the width of the columns keeps the same. And I would like to have more information before I open a document.
