Windows 10: How to display HEIC photos on PC screen

Hi. When I bulk transfer photos from my Android Samsung phone to Pictures on my new ASUS PC, which has Windows 11, the photos do not open and are not displayed, but simply show as HEIC. I can open each one individually but want to see them all individually displayed on the screen as they used to when they were JPEG files. Please help me as this is driving me nuts.

Hi,

I am Chester and I need some urgent help.

Today, I found out all my photos stored on iPhone 15 Pro are in .heic extension when I am exploring the DCIM folder on my Windows 10 PC. I have no clue with the heic format and I need to convert 500+ heic images to jpg so I can edit and share with others.

Unfortunately, the default photo and paint app can't open the heic file. Please suggest a fast way to batch convert .heic to .jpg on a Windows 10 PC.

Good day!

I would like to ask for assistance regarding HEIC photos.
I already have the HEIF and HEIV extensions but I still cannot open these HEIC photos.

I tried to uninstall then reinstall the extensions but I am still encountering the same issue.

HEIF - 1.0.61171.0
HEVC - 2.0.6.61302.0
