    Hello,I accidentally removed my computer from the device list on my microsoft account.My computer is still logged in and is connected to the account.The only issue is that I do not see it on the list, therefore I can not check its details online.How do I add my computer back to the device list of my account?

    To understand the issue better, please provide us more information.


    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • When you say ‘’ remove this display" how did you remove the display please provide the steps.
    For now try the below steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue,


    • Type settings on the Windows search bar and select
      Settings.

    • Click on Devices and click on Connected devices.
    • Now click on Add a device.

  3. Remove Devices

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that you are facing issues while removing the device from your Microsoft account as it keeps popping back after removing.



    It could be possible that the device was using OneDrive with the same Microsoft account and that might be the reason you are able to see the device listed under your profile. I would suggest you to remove the device from OneDrive
    and see if that helps.



    You can follow the steps to remove the device from OneDrive.



    1. Login to
      https://onedrive.live.com
      .
    2. Now on the left hand pane click on PC’s.
    3. Now click on the devices that are listed under PC’s and on the right hand side click on
      Remove PC.


    If the issue persists, please get back to us with the results of the troubleshooting steps to assist you further.

    Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

    Hi Maheen,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

    • Incorrect settings.
    • Corrupt or outdated display driver.
    Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

    Method 2:

    If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

    • Right-click on the Start Button and click on
      Device manager.
    • Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
    • Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
    • In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
    • In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.
    Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

    Step 2:

    Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.
