Windows 10: How to do Hover Text like on Mac on Windows?

In my work's software, I have to scroll over a box with the text cut off as the box is too small, and then the hover text will show everything in the box.But this text is unreadably small, and there is no way to increase its size on Windows or Edge.On Mac, it is possible to enable Hover Text, where I can scroll onto anything, hold the Apple key, and the box's content even if it's cut off is shown in big text and it's heaven.But how do I do the same on Windows?

Hovering text on my screen


I have a hovering text on my screen that is coming from another window

( another opened Chrome window)

Why does it happen, and how can i get rid of it without rebooting ?

 

Strange pink highlight on hover/tooltip text

It looks like the RGB value that my computer has set should be similar to R: 253, G: 0, B: 249.
In the "Colors" directory of regedit there's no value that looks as if it has been set to the hot pink colour. Interestingly the hot pink highlight also shows up for some text in regedit:



Note: the pink highlight doesn't occur when I actually highlight things. It doesn't disapear when I highlight things either. It just shows up by default on certain bits of text, most commonly settings tabs (File, Edit, Tools, View, etc.) in most programs and hover/tooltip text on things - e.g. Hovering over a text document on my desktop will tell me the Type, Size, and Date modified but all this information has this strange pink highlight.

Because of this I'm not sure which value to change as Hilight seems to be set to the default blue, could you suggest a directory where I might find the correct value to change?

Trouble with Hover function

Hi Gwendolyn,

The option to activate a window by hovering it with the mouse may not be enabled, and this could be a possible cause why you are experiencing an issue with using the hover function of your mouse.

Follow these steps to enable the Activate a window by hovering it with the mouse option:

• Using Cortana, type ease of access.
• On the search results, click on Ease of Access Center.
• Choose Make the mouse easier to use.
• Under Make it easier to manage windows, tick on the checkbox beside Activate a window by hovering it with the mouse.
  
• Click Apply and then click OK.
• Restart your computer.
