    So with the new semester starting, I'm trying to create a solid workstation for my all online class semester. I've been thinking through various ideas and had an idea for something, but wanted to ask about some technical feasibility issues with it. Right now I use a Lenovo Yoga 730 laptop for college and own a stylus for it.

    For some context, my classes this semester are all online and are a mix between social science and math classes. This means I'm in zoom meetings throughout this semester and most of my school materials are stored in the cloud or on my laptop. I would like to be able to take notes digitally which my laptop can do if I flip it over and use a stylus, but that doesn't work well if I'm also on zoom for software and screen space reasons. So a potential solution I have thought about that wouldn't be too expensive would be to get an external monitor with a web camera connected to my laptop. That way on the monitor I could have the zoom call and lecture run while I have my laptop flipped over into a tablet position taking digital notes. Also I figure it would be helpful for me to have a dedicated second display anyways so I always can look at my to-do lists and calendar. So there's a few technical questions I have for that.

    1. Can I have the monitor display run normally with my laptop screen running in the Windows 10 tablet mode with me taking handwritten notes on the touchscreen? Does Windows 10 support that?
    2. Is it possible to freeze the second display to only programs open?

    tl:dr - Trying to figure out if I use my laptop as a tablet taking notes with zoom calls hooked up into a second monitor

    Usually, you will receive an error when connecting external monitor when the cable is not connected properly. I would suggest you to follow the suggestions mentioned in the article

    I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

    Please follow below steps:

    • Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
    • Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
